This article about on board GPS navigation systems suggests that the systems themselves are very vulnerable to hackers. This would mean that anyone driving a car and using one of these systems could be very vulnerable to attack. As if it wasn't bad enough that the systems themselves would lead you into a lake on a foggy night because they would neglect to tell you to wait for a ferry, drivers could now be vulnerable to a whole birage of totally unlikely attacks.
